Jonathan grew up in Kanas City, Missouri where he began modeling his craft after his father Doug who toured and did studio work throughout Jonathan's childhood.  Doug lived and worked by the motto, "Less is More", a statement which Jonathan has abided by ever since.

After playing in local bands and writing in Kanas City till the age of 23, he decided it was time for the next step and moved to Nashville in 2007. Soon after, he bagan working with Word recording artist Satellites & Sirens and would soon become a member.  Over the last 12 years he has been touring, writing and doing session work for various artists across the globe.
